Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous yoga experience to practice prenatal yoga? 

​

Not at all! You don't need any previous yoga experience to practice with me. These classes are designed to be accessible to all, regardless of your fitness level or familiarity with yoga.

 

​If you have any concerns about your fitness level, previous injuries, or specific conditions, please feel free to reach out to me. 

As of what trimester am I allowed to practice prenatal yoga? 

​

You can practice yoga from your first trimester (although you may have more energy as of your second trimester) and be part of it until it feels comfortable for you in the later stages of your pregnancy. My  classes are designed to hold space for every stage of your pregnancy. 

​

Do I need any props or additional equipment? 

​

Besides your yoga mat or a soft surface, you might want to have some pillows, blankets, and anything else to make you extra comfortable. 

​

It's important to listen to your body. Take rest if needed and come out of any posture that causes strain or excessive discomfort. If you experience dizziness, shortness of breath, chest pain, abdominal pain, uterine contractions, vaginal bleeding or fluid leakage from your vagina or have history high blood pressure or any other serious medical condition, please consult your midwife or doctor. Please consult with your care provider before taking this course or starting any type of exercise.
