Holistic Prenatal Yoga

Why Holistic? 

In our classes, we learn:

  1. Key postures to ease discomfort and relax you during pregnancy and to support you in preparing for your birthing experience.

  2. Breathing techniques to cope with contractions and help during labor.

  3. Empowering tools to help you in your process of becoming a mom, whether it's the first or third time.

Using the 5 key elements of a holistic (Akhanda) practice:

  1. Movement

  2. Breathing

  3. Sounding

  4. Meditation

  5. Yogic Wisdom

No matter how busy you might be, yoga will help you cope with your life in a more relaxed and focused way. It has an amazing way of making more space and energy available for you.

The prenatal yoga classes I offer support moms in all stages of pregnancy, inspired by the Womben Wellness teachings.



Classes take place in the coziest yoga studio in Munich, Svaira Yoga - The Studio. Located just a 3 minute walk from the U-bahn Station Sendlinger Tor

Making time to practice a little bit of yoga allows you to hold space for your and your baby's health and emotional well-being during the amazing journey that is pregnancy.

Holistic Prenatal Yoga helps you focus more deeply on your pregnancy. You will feel more in touch with yourself, more connected and you will be reassured that the power to give birth and to nurture your baby once it is born is within you and nowhere else.

The location 

We will practice, share and learn in the most beautiful urban oasis in Munich. Svaira Yoga - The Studio is centrally located only 3 minutes away from the subway station Sendlinger Tor. As soon as you enter the backyard you will be fully submerged in the here and now. The studio has all the props we need for our practice, as well as changing rooms, a solid hygiene concept in view of COVID-19 and a lovely atmosphere, perfect for our yogini gatherings.

Do I need previous yoga experience to practice prenatal yoga? 

Not at all. This Prenatal Yoga Program is accessible to all mommas to be, regardless of your previous experience. 

Each session is designed to strengthen, relax you and get you in tune with baby and body without over-straining. 

How much is the Prenatal Yoga Program? 

6-classes: € 81,00

12-classes: (13th class is free!):

€ 162,00

Before booking your class bundle, feel free to book a trial session for €10,00 

Do you have a hygiene concept for COVID-19? 

Svaira Yoga - The Studio has a solid hygiene concept based on the framework created by the Bavarian State Ministry for Sports and Integration of 29 May 2020.

  • Class capacity limited to a maximum of 6 students, that allows for a distance of more than 1.5m between students.

  • We air the practicing area thoroughly before and after each class and leave the windows open so that there is always fresh air in the studio.

  • All yogis are obliged to wear a mask when entering, crossing and leaving the studio, as well as in the changing rooms. During the class you are welcome to practice without it but must put the mask back on as soon as you leave your mat.     

  •  We provide a disinfectant dispenser in the reception area that is of compulsory use as part of the check-in. In the practice area we also have disinfectant available.     

  • We encourage all yogis to use their own yoga mats with the option of borrowing a yoga mat and then cleaning it with disinfectant spray provided.

  • We ask all yogis to follow these studio-specific measures as well as the general rules of conduct and recommendations for protection against the corona virus in everyday life.

As of what trimester am I allowed to practice prenatal yoga? 

You can join the Holistic Prenatal Yoga Series from your first trimester (although you may have more energy as of your second trimester) and be part of it until it feels comfortable for you in the later stages of your pregnancy. Our weekly classes hold space for every stage of your pregnancy.

Besides teaching Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga, I am also passionate about the amazing unfolding process of being a woman and becoming a mother. I consider the concept of community, women's gathering and support systems extremely important as an empowerment tool for all women, regardless of their stage in life.
